Star Wars: Ahsoka is written by Dave Filoni, who serves as executive producer alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. The series is set to release on Disney+ on 23 August. Rounding out the cast of Ahsoka are the late Ray Stevenson, Ivanna Sakhno, Diane Lee Inosanto, David Tennant and Hayden Christensen as the one and only, Darth Vader. Oh, not forgetting the droid Chopper a.k.a C1-10P who was also seen in earlier teaser trailers. As seen in the trailer, the ex-Jedi also reunites with Hera Syndulla, played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Thrawn and Sabine aren’t the only Rebels character debuting into live-action in Ahsoka. After all, Thrawn is one of the most iconic and beloved villains in the Star Wars franchise. Mikkelsen’s appearance as the villain was first announced in April this year and it seems like his live-action portrayal will either make it or break it for the fans. That’s right, the trailer offered a short glimpse of original voice actor Lars Mikkelsen with blue skin and a pair of red beady eyes. Speaking of Thrawn, the iconic villain finally made his live-action debut in the trailer. Given the way the two previously split, Ahsoka will also see the Master and Student work through their issues with one another and themselves. With rumblings of General Admiral Thrawn’s resurfacing, Ahsoka and Sabine work together to try and find Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfadi) once again, all while being hunted by Inquisitors and a pair of Dark Force users. They are all best friends except Emily and Lauren sometimes they are frenmies.Set during the same time as The Mandalorian season three, the new Ahsoka trailer reveals a reunion between lead character Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) and her student Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Borzizzo). The series finale culminates with Payson, Kaylie, Lauren, and Jordan being four of the five girls chosen to represent the United States in the Olympics. Lauren discovers the secret Wendy has been hiding and exposes her, getting Wendy kicked out for good. After Austin and Kaylie are reunited, Lauren, Payson and Jordan tell the NGO that they are boycotting Olympic tryouts unless Kaylie is allowed to perform. During this time, it is uncertain whether Kaylie will be eligible to stay in the running because she failed her drug tests. She snuck it in Kaylie's smoothies without her knowledge. Desperate to ensure her spot on the team, Wendy begins to drug Kaylie with a cold medicine containing a banned substance. Jordan reveals that a former coach, Coach Keagan, who has been asked to work at the USATC, molested her for years when she was young. Austin is told he has not made the Olympic Team, and blames Kaylie for it. Payson eventually ends up finding out that Lauren has an irregular heart beat, and Lauren ends up having to have heart surgery, which may result in the end of her gymnastics career. Lauren begins to deal with some mysterious health issues, which she is keeping it a secret from everyone else. Rigo does not tell Payson about being set up or that she was actually supposed to meet Brad. Lauren had originally set Payson up with Rigo's friend, Brad but Rigo went instead to meet Payson. Payson has a new romance with Rigo (Tom Maden). Kelly turns out not good enough for the Olympics and leaves gymnastics. Payson's family announce they are going to return to Minnesota. Coach Mac also pairs up the girls, forcing Kaylie to live and work with Kelly Parker and Lauren to work with Payson. An uninvited gymnast, Jordan Randall, convinces Coach MacIntire to let her train with the group, causing tensions between everyone. They have to deal with a new coach, and new teammates, including a new upcoming gymnast, Wendy, who has more energy to train harder, since she is younger than the more experienced seniors. Season Three opens with Payson, Lauren, and Kaylie heading to the Olympic Training Center, as they prepare for the London 2012 Olympics.
