It is a small and lightweight application that enables users to configure and optimize their computer’s audio settings. It allows users to calibrate volume, select from a number of pre-defined equalizer options, adjust the balance of sound. It enables users to control volume, adjust volume of individual applications, adjust the volume of individual speakers. Application provides a variety of different settings for you to adjust and configure, including volume, input and output devices, microphone level. Windows 10 is about to become a dinosaur since nobody wants it without tearing its guts out and blocking Windows Update.Realtek Audio Console is a sound card's control panel that includes many sound enhancements, virtual sound card settings, it monitors sound card. And usb drivers for Windows 7 would be nice. I guess we can't have nice things.ĪSRock, please fix this debacle so I don't have to return this board. We shouldn't have to select a motherboard for RAM support, number of PCI-e slots, usb's AND A SIMPLE REALTEK AUDIO PANEL WITH AT LEAST A 7-BAND EQ - but I guess that's what it has come to. Instead, we are being put at risk to download and install interface software from unknowns, possibly helping the malware scene in the process. This should be treated like power steering or brakes these are considered standard equipment. TL DR: A proper sound interface, with equalizer, bundled on disk is, and has always been, expected. Don't get me started on other board prices all I can say is it must have something to do with paint chips. These motherboards are ridiculously expensive - at this price point, I expect nothing short of complete excellence. Sound right? About as right as expecting us to buy soundcards for a simple piece of software. Maybe, since soundcards cost more than some mobos, they should give us the board for free along with a check for a soundcard. In years passed, I have had at least one manufacturer respond that I should buy a sound card to get a proper equalizer. The new panels are so bad that the companies behind them have fully lost any credibility with me. It is now 2020 and I am both amazed and thoroughly disgusted. We have had to complain to numerous mobo manufacturers going back to 2001. It is ridiculous that we need to doctor our systems that we pay so much damn money for. Older Realtek panels included EQ's, though not always - and when they didn't, entire forums popped up, dedicated to cross-installing the panels from other mobos. We DO ENJOY listening to music on our pc's, and we don't enjoy the inability to tune the sound to a point where it doesn't sound like instruments being played in a tin can, clothes dryer, or other some-such environment. I am putting their panel quality with the likes of 1970's cheap-o Kraco or Craig car stereos. Not to mention, some of the sound effects may not even work, as I hear no difference whatsoever while turning them full or off. Additionally, neither I nor ANYONE I know thinks that sound presets are ingenious. Bass and treble?! Are you serious?!?! This is a pc in 2020, not a 1971 Ford pickup. This is a big name for a panel that is as effective as the 'tone' knob on a 1960's phonograph. anymore, much less handle 3rd party interfaces.Ĭreative Labs Soundblaster Cinema 5: It would appear that Creative Labs is becoming about as relevant to music today as Victrola is. Microsoft shouldn't be allowed to make an O.S. Windows 10 Panel: Only allows to re-task jacks and select outputs. No pc should rely on an internet connection to fully install it. Give us our software the way we expect it: ON THE DISK. Most of us are tearing out nearly everything except what it needs to run and this is a DESKTOP, NOT A CELLPHONE. (Mobo manufacturers - Please ask people if they are even going to allow Windows 10 Store to grace their systems. Realtek panel: Nonexistent replaced by a rudimentary Windouche 10 Store crapplication interface. Enter the revolutionary tool called the 'equalizer', invented in. Face it - computers don't exactly have stellar sound, and pc speakers, especially multichannel kits, suck. I can't understand why, after so many years of complaints by users and extensive forums dedicated to computer audio quality, any mobo manufacturer would half-ass their audio interface to the Realtek sound chip. I see nothing remotely close to even a hint of such a thing. By name alone, I expect a good and proper audio interface panel. I have an ASRock x570 Phantom Gaming X motherboard. ![]()
